​When you work as a babysitter, you’ll need to love  and be patient working with children, have a calm, friendly and patient personality, and enjoy working after hours or on weekends. Babysitters are often used by families to help out with their kids when parents are away for work, out on a function, or simply have other commitments.

As a babysitter, you’ll need to watch parents’ children mostly in the evenings and after hours, as this is when social events are happening that don’t accommodate children, or when parents have work commitments outside of normal working hours.
